HOLE #2 THE ASH

Only a good tee shot allows a perfect view of the green
80 meters away from the green on the right of the fairway, a spectacular tree will punish less accurate players
The Common Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) generally has a rapid growth, surviving in difficult environmental conditions such as polluted areas, salt and strong winds, with a good resistance to low or high temperatures
The ash generally enjoys exposure to full sun or half shade, grows on any type of soil as long as it is deep and fresh, and withstands humid and poorly drained soils. Fruits, leaves, roots and ash bark have slightly laxative, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, anti-arthritic properties. Chemical analyses justify these properties with the presence of coumarin and flavonoids, which inhibit the production of endogenous inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins.
