Hole 9 - Buzzard
Another extremely challenging par. Over 170 meters of carry to clear the bunker on the left and have a chance to 'cut' the hole, avoiding a second shot to the green that is almost prohibitive.
The green, which is quite large, is defended by two tricky bunkers, one on the right and the other on the left.
The Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo)
It lives in all areas except the coldest ones. It prefers forests but usually hunts in open areas. The buzzard is generally undemanding, inhabiting semi-wooded environments with a mix of predominantly herbaceous vegetation where it hunts and areas with dominant tree vegetation where it nests.
Its limited ecological needs make it the most frequent and widespread diurnal raptor in the Alps at medium to low altitudes, with breeding territories that can be as small as just a few square kilometers. It is easily observed perched on posts and isolated trees, from which it hunts by ambush.
